Does MASSO Touch come with a G3 installed?
Yes. MASSO Touch comes with a MASSO G3 already mounted inside the enclosure and connected to the touchscreen, ready to use.
It also includes:
Emergency Stop (E-Stop)
Red and green push buttons
Note:
MASSO Touch does not include a power supply.
You must provide a 24V DC power supply with a minimum current rating of 1.5A.
The enclosure is not deep enough to install a power supply internally.
Can a standard MASSO G3 be installed inside a MASSO Touch enclosure?
No. MASSO Touch includes specialised electronics to drive and control the integrated touchscreen.
A standard MASSO G3:
Is designed for VGA displays using a 15-pin VGA connector
Cannot drive LED/LCD touchscreens
Cannot be used with the MASSO Touch screen
As a result, a standard MASSO G3 cannot be used inside the MASSO Touch enclosure.
Can I purchase the MASSO Touch controller board or enclosure separately?
No. The MASSO Touch controller board and enclosure are not available for individual sale.
Can the MASSO G3 be removed from the MASSO Touch enclosure?
No. The MASSO G3 cannot be removed from the MASSO Touch enclosure.
This is because:
The LCD driver limits the allowable distance between the driver and the screen
If you do not want to run cables directly into the MASSO Touch enclosure, use the MASSO G3 Touch Wiring Module, which extends the connections outside the cabinet.
What is the screen resolution?
The screen resolution is 1024 × 768 pixels, the same as standard MASSO G2 and MASSO G3 controllers.
What materials is the enclosure made from?
Front enclosure: ABS plastic
Rear mounting plate: Anodised aluminium
Touchscreen: Toughened capacitive touch glass
What is the enclosure’s IP (Ingress Protection) rating?
The unit does not use cooling fans, meaning there is no internal air pressure to draw in dust.
Key points:
The front assembly and rear panel include a lip to reduce dust and water ingress
Direct exposure to dust or liquids should be avoided
The rear panel includes mounting holes and a wiring cut-out
These openings must be sealed by the installer during installation
Is the software different between MASSO G3 and MASSO Touch?
No. MASSO G3 and MASSO Touch use the same software, with identical features and user interface.
MASSO Touch was developed in response to customer and OEM requests for:

Improved touchscreen reliability compared to third-party displays
Software updates are released at the same time for both models and include the same features.
Are the red and green buttons limited to cycle start and stop?
No. The red and green buttons are connected to standard inputs and can be assigned any supported function from the F1 ? Setup screen.
What is the weight of MASSO Touch?
The MASSO Touch weighs approximately 4.5 kg (9.92 lb).
What is the operating temperature range?
