MASSO Touch & G3 – User Password Reset

If you have forgotten the User password but still know the Admin password, you can reset the User password as follows:

1. Press F1 to open the F1 screen.

2. Enter the Admin password.

3. Select User Account.

4. Press Reset Password.

5. Press Save.

    

The User password is reset to the default: HTG.

The Admin password is not changed.

You can now log in and set a new User password.

MASSO Touch & G3 – Admin Password Display

If you have forgotten the Admin password, you can recover it using the Password Display software available in myWorkshop.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Log in to myWorkshop.

2. Download:

    • Password Display software

    • A copy of the same MASSO software version currently running on your controller (if you don’t already have it).

3. Copy both files to a USB flash drive:

    • Place them in the MASSO directory.

4. Important:
   Take note of the software version currently running on your MASSO. You will need it to reinstall after recovering the passwords.

5. Restart MASSO and immediately:

    • Press F1 repeatedly, or

    • Tap the screen (on MASSO Touch), until the software load screen appears.

6. Select Password Display Software v1.02 and install it.

7. When installation is complete, press ESC.

8. The screen will now display both the User and Admin passwords.

    • Write these down.

9. Restart MASSO again and enter the software load screen.

10. Select and install the original MASSO software version you were using.

11. Press ESC once installation is complete.

MASSO will start normally, and you can now log in using the recovered passwords.
