CAUTION: Take screenshots of your current controller settings including all setup and calibration data including input and output function assignments and invert status as after loading this software your controller might reset to default settings or controller settings might change.

CAUTION: The below steps need to be followed if updating your controller from any other software version apart from version 5.0 

  • After loading this software version, all tools data in the F4 screen will be erased and the user must manually add all tools data in F4 screen before using the machine.
  • This version has new tool changer logic for mill linear tool changer which requires all the inputs and outputs to be reassigned and calibration data entered into the tool chnager settings in the F1 screen before using the machine.

     

 

NEW in v5.01

  • Machine Homing Enhancement
    • Based on user feedback, the Home button next to the JOG buttons has been removed.
    • Now, double-clicking the flashing HOME indicator on the screen will initialize the homing cycle.
  • Resume Machining from G-Code File Editor
    • Added an option to resume machining directly from a selected line in the G-Code file editor.
  • M66 – Input Signal Control in G-Code
  • M85, M86 – Automatic Door Control
    • Added support for M85 and M86 to automatically open and close machine doors using G-code.
    • This feature also integrates with automatic tool changes.

Improvements & Bug fixes

  • Backlash Logic Improvements
    • IMPORTANT: Significant backlash logic improvements. If using backlash compensation, this update is highly recommended.
  • Spindle Control Enhancements
    • Added support for spindle RPM acceleration and deceleration in Step/Dir and PWM control modes.
  • Plasma Enhancements
    • Fixed a bug where the cutting voltage value in the F2 screen was not properly converted when using inch mode.
    • Added a torch offset option when G200 is disabled.
  • Scribe Tool Fixes
    • Resolved an issue where the scribe tool ON/OFF function was not working correctly.
  • Conversational Wizard Fixes
    • Various improvements and bug fixes for Conversational Wizards.
  • Axis Calibration Wizard Fixes
    • Fixed a bug in the Axis Calibration Wizard that affected inch mode operation.
  • G-Code File Editor Fixes
    • Fixed an issue where the G-Code editor would not allow saving the file twice without reopening it.
  • Machine JOG Feedrate on Power-Up
    • Based on user feedback, the machine JOG feedrate is now set to 10% on power-up.
    • This helps prevent accidental crashes on high-feedrate machines before homing.
  • WaterJet Enhancements
    • Improved WaterJet logic for better control and reliability.
  • On-Screen Keyboard Safety Improvement
    • For safety, when using MDI mode, the ENTER key is now disabled on the on-screen keyboard.
    • Users must now press the RUN button in the MDI window to execute commands.
    • This change was made to prevent accidental execution when using Backspace on the on-screen keyboard.
  • Drilling Cycle Enhancements
    • Fixed issues related to Jump to Line with drilling cycles, ensuring smoother execution.
