New in Version 5.11

New Feature: Cutter Compensation (G40, G41, G42)

Cutter Compensation has been added to Advanced and Legacy MASSO CNC Controllers.

This feature allows the controller to automatically adjust the toolpath based on the programmed tool diameter and the actual tool size.

Benefits:

  • Use the same G-code program with different tools (with correct offsets).

  • Compensate for tool wear or regrinding by updating the tool diameter in the tool table.

  • Achieve higher precision without needing to regenerate CAM programs.

Supported Commands:

IMPORTANT:
Proper lead-in and lead-out moves are required in the G-code to allow smooth application of cutter compensation.

Axis Output Testing

Integrated Diagnostics now includes Axis Output Testing buttons, available across Essential, Core, and Advanced controller levels.

This provides a simple and convenient way to test and verify axis outputs directly from the controller.
