NEW in v5.11

New Feature: Cutter Compensation (G40, G41, G42)

We are excited to announce that Cutter Compensation has now been added to Advanced and Legacy MASSO CNC Controllers.

Cutter Compensation allows the controller to automatically adjust the toolpath based on the programmed tool diameter and the actual tool size. This means you can:

 - Use the same G-code program with different tools (as long as offsets are set correctly).

 - Compensate for tool wear or regrinding by simply updating the tool diameter in the tool table.

 - Achieve higher precision when machining critical parts without having to reprogram your CAM.

Supported commands:

 - G40 – Cancel cutter compensation

 - G41 – Enable cutter compensation left

 - G42 – Enable cutter compensation right

Important: When using cutter compensation, proper lead-in and lead-out moves are required in the G-code to allow the controller to apply the offset smoothly.

This feature gives machinists more flexibility, accuracy, and efficiency in their CNC programming and setup.

New Feature: Axis Output Testing

We’ve released Integrated Diagnostics with Axis output testing buttons, available across all levels (Essential, Core, and Advanced), providing a more convenient way to test and check your controller.
