Version 5.13 uses a new settings format. Updating converts your existing settings automatically. Do not load a settings file from 5.12 or earlier into 5.13 – it corrupts the settings and MASSO reverts to defaults. Use your printed settings file to check and correct settings after the update. Only use your pre-update backup to roll back to the previous version.
CAUTION
Read these notes before updating. Back up your settings and save and print the printable settings file, so you can check every setting after the update. See Save & Load Settings.
How to update

Back up your machine settings, and save and print the printable settings file.

Copy the software file into the MASSO folder on your USB flash drive.

Power-cycle MASSO and open the software load screen: on MASSO G3 Touch, tap the screen during start-up; on MASSO G3, press F1 on the keyboard.

Select the new version and press Enter. The update takes about 45 seconds.

Press Esc to leave the load screen.

Compare your settings with the printed file and correct anything that changed.
