Powering MASSO-G3

CAUTION: Semiconductor components inside the unit can be damaged by electrostatic discharge (ESD). Handle the controller with care. Damage caused by incorrect handling is not covered under warranty.

Power Connection

  • The power supply connector is located at the top-right corner of the controller.

  • MASSO-G3 requires:

    • 12–24 VDC power supply

    • Minimum 1.5 A output

    • Voltage must not exceed 25 VDC or drop below 12 VDC

Once power is connected, MASSO-G3 powers on instantly.

WARNING: A 1 amp fuse must be installed between your power supply and MASSO. This protects the controller from accidental short circuits on the auxiliary power terminals. Failure to install a fuse can cause permanent damage.

WARNING: The MASSO-G3 power supply must remain within 12–25 VDC at all times.

INFORMATION

Multiple Power (Red) and Ground (Black) terminals are provided on the controller for easy wiring.

Examples:

- Power terminals can supply voltage to sensors or homing switches.

- Ground terminals can be used to connect a common ground between stepper or servo drives.

CAUTION: The total current draw must not exceed 500 mA across all auxiliary terminals. Connecting high-current loads can damage the controller beyond repair.
