Conversational Wizards allow simple G-code programs to be created directly on the controller for basic machining operations.

A single wizard can be used to create a simple cut, or up to 50 wizards can be combined to generate a more complex machining program.

Creating a Conversational Wizard

• Open the screen on MASSO.

• Select and enter a name for the wizard.

• A .wiz file will be saved to the USB flash drive and can be loaded again later.

Adding and Editing Wizards

• Click to open the wizard selection menu.

• Highlight the required wizard.

• Click to open the wizard.

   

• Enter the required parameters.

• Press when complete.

• If a parameter is missing or incorrect, a warning message will be displayed and the relevant field will be highlighted.

   

• After saving, you will return to the Conversational page where additional wizards can be added or G-code can be generated.

   

Managing Wizard Order

Multiple wizards can be combined to form a single program.

• Use and to change the order of cuts

• Use to create a copy of an existing wizard

The order shown determines the order of operations in the final G-code file.

Wizard Details and Output Settings

• A description and creation or revision date can be entered if required

• An Output G-code name must be entered

• The .nc file extension is added automatically

• An output folder can be specified to save the file in a specific directory

   

Press to update the project and save the .wiz file to the USB flash drive.

Generating the G-code File

Press Post G-code to generate the G-code file.

The file will be saved to the USB flash drive.

Loading and Running the Program

• The .wiz file can be reopened from the F6 – screen for editing or re-posting

• To machine the project, load the generated G-code file and run it normally
