A new G-code file can be created in two ways.

Method 1 – From the F6 Screen

1. Go to the F6 screen.

2. Press the New button.  

    

    

Method 2 – From the F2 Screen

1. Press F2 to open the F2 – Program & MDI screen.

2. Press CTRL + N to open the New File Name window.

    

Saving the File

1. Enter the file name.

2. Press Save.

    

There is no need to add .nc to the file name. MASSO will automatically add the file extension.

After saving, the editing window will open and you can begin writing your new program.
