The Feed Rate Override function allows the feed rate to be adjusted while machining.

The override range is normally 20% to 100% of the programmed feed rate, and the current feed rate percentage is displayed on screen.

Information: This feature is available on the F2 and F3 screens.

Information: The current Beta software version allows the feed rate override range to be extended from 20% to 150%.

Using an External Keyboard

1. Press the F11 key on the keyboard.

2. Use the + and – keys to increase or decrease the feed rate.

    

When the feed rate override is set to 100%, the machine is running at the programmed feed rate.

Using the MPG Pendant

To select Feed Rate Override using the pendant:

1. On the touch screen, press the at the top of the screen until is displayed.

2. Rotate the MPG dial clockwise to increase the feed rate or anticlockwise to decrease it.

To cancel feed rate override and return the pendant to jog mode, select a different axis on the pendant.

MASSO G3 and MASSO Touch Override Controls

On MASSO G3 and MASSO Touch, an Overrides tab is available in the G-code window.

• The Feed Override slider allows adjustment between 20% and 100%

• Changes take effect in real time while machining

• Press Reset to return the feed rate to 100%
