G99 – Canned Cycle – Retract Back To R Plane

The G99 command is used in combination with canned cycles to retract the Z axis back to the R plane position after each drilling operation.

When G99 is active, the Z axis retracts to the R value specified in the canned cycle command rather than returning to the initial Z position.
