MASSO Wi-Fi Modules are available in two options

• MASSO G3 Touch Wi-Fi module, which includes a flat mount internal antenna

• MASSO G3 Wi-Fi module, which includes a thread mount external antenna

Both modules are compatible with either controller.

This is the standard module for the MASSO G3 Touch, it is designed to be compact and mount internally to the MASSO G3 Touch enclosure

MASSO G3 Wi-Fi module including thread mount external antenna

This is the standard module for the MASSO G3, it is designed to be mounted externally to your electronics enclosure, this helps to reduce sheilding by the enclosure from the Wi-Fi signal, and may boost the avaialbe range of your Wi-Fi.

Installing the Wi-Fi Module

The Wi-Fi module must be installed before Wi-Fi can be used.

All MASSO G3 and G3 Touch controllers include the Wi-Fi hardware installed as standard.

• CORE, ADVANCED, and LEGACY controllers include the required software.

• ESSENTIAL level controllers require a software upgrade to enable Wi-Fi.

Installation Steps

1. Power off MASSO.

2. Remove the main label cover.

3. Slide the label panel to the left.

4. Install the Wi-Fi module and antenna.

5. Reinstall the label panel.

6. Power on MASSO.

CAUTION: The Wi-Fi module must be installed in the correct orientation as shown in the installation diagram. Installing the module incorrectly may damage the hardware.
