WARNING: Axis Step and Direction signals are differential signals. The following precautions must be followed to avoid electrical damage to the system: All axis outputs are differential signals with a voltage range of -4V to +4V, Do not short-circuit signals together, Do not connect signals to GND or any voltage supply, as this will damage the axis outputs, All signals must be isolated from other signals, Signals must be connected directly to the drives
