Loading Software onto MASSO Touch

Regular software updates are released to add new features and improvements.


Updating the software can be done on-site by following the steps below.

 

  • Each software version is complete and does not require previous versions to be installed.

  • The process is the same for new installations and software updates.

  • Always back up your settings before upgrading.

 

INFORMATION: The latest software updates are available from your my Workshop portal.

 

 

 

 


Information:

 

  • The latest software is available from your myWorkshop portal.

  • Avoid using unbranded USB flash drives, as they are known to cause installation issues.

  • Always back up your settings:

    • Go to F1 ? Load & Save Settings

    • Press Save to File

    • Press Save Printable File

 


USB Flash Drive Requirements

 

  • Flash drive must be FAT32 formatted

  • Drives larger than 32 GB may not support FAT32 and cannot be used

  • Partition type must be MBR (GPT is not supported)

  • Create a folder named MASSO in the root directory

  • Copy the downloaded software file from myWorkshop into the MASSO folder

 

 


Software Installation Steps (MASSO Touch)

 

  1. Ensure you are using the correct instructions for MASSO Touch.

  2. Back up your current settings and save the printable file.

  3. Leave the USB flash drive unplugged.

  4. Power on MASSO Touch and immediately tap the screen repeatedly until the software load screen appears.

     • If it does not appear, power off and try again.

  5. Plug in the USB flash drive.

  6. Select the desired software from the list.

  7. Press Enter on the keyboard.

  8. Once loading is complete, press ESC on the screen.

  9. MASSO Touch will restart with the new software installed.

 

 


After Updating

 

  • Use the printable file you saved earlier to verify all settings are correct.

     

INFORMATION: If you cannot get to the software load screen, unplug the flash drive and plug it in after the software load screen is displayed.
