Probing
MASSO supports interactive part probing, allowing users to accurately locate features and set work offsets.
The following probing functions are available:

INFORMATION: The Save Settings button must be pressed for any change to the probing mode to take effect.


Selecting a Work Offset
The Probing screen includes six work offset buttons.
This feature is available on software version 5 and later.
Work offset selection allows you to choose where the probing results will be stored.
The required work offset must be selected before starting a probing cycle.
Probing results are saved to the currently active work offset.
The active work offset is displayed at the top of the screen.
When exiting the Probing screen, MASSO remains set to the last selected work offset.

This is done by touching the probe tip in case of a 3D touch probe or by tapping the plate against the tool in case of a probing plate.
